The NeuroReadies Learning Pathway

ADHD and autistic children who start the NeuroReadies Learning Pathway with Miss Emma at age two or three find learning to read surprisingly easy. When there are no significant intellectual delays, most are choosing and reading their own books well before starting school.

Children screened at age three with a high dyslexia-risk index will begin school ready to read if supported through the NeuroReadies Learning Pathway in the early years, even when synthetic phonics programmes are later used in KS1. If the Speech Sound Pics (SSP) Approach is delivered by an experienced SSP teacher in Reception, instead of synthetic phonics, we can more or less guarantee that they will not require a dyslexia diagnosis in KS2.

Are you an amazing teacher?

Thinking of leaving teaching in schools? You can work less and help more children by training with us. In England, one in four children cannot read by age 11, and you can help change that.

We have just opened the first Early Dyslexia Screening Centre and are looking for passionate teachers to join us so we can open more across the country.

Our NeuroReadies Learning Pathway is designed for neurodivergent children. It makes sense to them, unlike the one-size-fits-all synthetic phonics programmes mandated by the DfE, which often overlook both linguistic and neurodiversity. Parents can use it before those programmes fail one in four children and turn them off reading.

The NeuroReadies Play Plan helps children see how letters and sounds connect in ways that work for dyslexic, ADHD, and autistic minds - learning that feels like play for the brain.

It is a quick and easy way for neurodivergent brains to learn to read and spell: less teaching, more learning. The most 'teaching' is during the first 10 days (Speech Sound Play plan) but then they start self-teaching, because of the resources. You are then a guide.

If you love child-centred learning, you’ll love our centre.
